CliniSoft was formed in 1997, with one mission in mind. To build simple, easy to use custom medical databases that can be used to manage a clinical or research practice, specializing in Breast Cancer and Skin Cancer.
CliniSoft uses the rapid application development (RAD) package, Clarion for Windows from SoftVelocity Inc. Using this template based application development environment, our database design or database development service can create custom database applications for any specialty, in a fraction of the time it would take in other development environments.
We use a modular database design for greatest flexibility. New modules can be added at anytime or existing modules can be edited or enhanced without re-building the entire application. Our custom medical database design uses a List-Form paradigm. Each module starts with a List of the most recent encounters, listed by date. The details of each encounter can then be displayed in a Form. The Form is used to add new data, edit existing data or delete data that is no longer required. We have found that the List-Form database design is the easiest, most efficient way to display patient medical data.
We currently have database applications ready for Breast Cancer and Skin Cancer (Melanoma). All our databases are HIPAA compliant. This includes security modules for a seperate user login, with various levels of access available, datafile encryption and transaction logging.
Each of the custom medical databases we produce can be run as a stand-alone application or network application on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP platforms.
